I have started reading this book and wow! What an eye opener!! Like I said, I just started reading it but I already see so many things that I need to change. In reading this book, I am taking a long hard look at the way I discipline our children. I'm learning why the kids take their Dad's warning much more seriously than they do mine. I am also learning that if you put the time and energy (and lets face it, with seven kids that is in short supply) into disciplining the kids, with consistency, it will make life much easier in the long run. And I agree with the cover of Dr. Ray's book, discipline that lasts a lifetime really is the best gift you can give your kids.
