I listen to him read to them... out of his favorite magazine (MOPAR, of course) or a Christmas story in front of the fireplace as Christmas draws near every year. He takes them without fail to every softball game, boy scout meeting and soccer game. The kids snuggle up to him on the sofa in front of the tv and learn about baseball...watching the Cards play... and they learn about football... watching the Steelers play. I watch him when he pulls down the globe and shows the children the places he has seen during his travels as a sailor and when he points out all the places on the globe where we have family. I watch all these things and it warms my heart to know that he does these things for the kids. He loves them, he wants to teach them everything he knows and he wants to spend time with him. I love that. And our kids are blessed that he is their dad!

A Father's Hands
Many times I have watched my husband as he spends time with our children. I watch him teach them how to play scrabble, how to play phase ten or how to work on his car.
